DBD: Quick Lot Bin Change

Path: Inventory Control > Setup > Quick Lot Bin Change

You will then enter your customer number, item code, and location. We recommend the use of the right-hand query button at the date field, which will display all the lots available for this specific item at this location. You can then select the lot that you wish to move.

At the Bin Location, you will then enter the bin location that you will be moving this item to. You will then use the tab or return key; this will then activate an additional button at the bottom of the screen to allow you to enter a specified quantity to move or you may use the SAVE button to move the entire portion to the new bin location.

If you wish to only move a portion of the inventory to the new bin location, select the button for "Quantity to transfer."

This will bring up a new box that shows the entire inventory currently at this location.

If you click Done at this point, the entire quantity will be moved to the new location.

Or enter only the actual quantity you wish to move, then click Done.

Additional Fields available to be modified by this utility include:

• Customer Comment – This comment is available to print on packing list.
• Standard Unit Cost, Standard Cost U/M and Standard Unit Cost Qty-Entry - Here can create a gross profit adjustment at invoicing time.
• IMS Price – Used for specialized reporting
