EQC: Footer Messages
This document explains how to create a footer message and where it can be assigned in the EQ Distributor system. Footer messages are printed on the bottom of an EQC order confirmation.
Footer Messages
Footer messages are set up in eCommerce > eCommerce Maintenance > Footer Messages. Footers can be universal by using variables to pull the specific information from the Consultant or CSR assigned to the client. Footer messages can also be specific by assigning them at the client level.
Note: Verify each CNS and CSR record are completed with phone, fax and email information in Consultant Setup.
Footer details
- Message ID: use up to two alphanumerical characters to ID this message.
- Description: describe the message. This description is not seen by the client.
- Message Text: type your message here. Use Variables to create standard messages that can use used universally.
- HTML enabled – this checkbox enables HTML code to be used in the message. With the HTML message comes the option to preview the message.
Best Practice: Create a generic message (using variables) and assign as a system default.
Variables
The following variables can be used in the footer text.
- [CNS_NAME] Primary Consultant's name
- [CNS_PHONE] Primary Consultant's phone number
- [CNS_FAX] Primary Consultant's fax number
- [CNS_EMAIL] Primary Consultant's e-mail address
- [CSR_NAME] CSR's name
- [CSR_PHONE] CSR's phone number
- [CSR_FAX] CSR's fax number
- [CSR_EMAIL] CSR's email address

- Save and Export
Note: Export the client and complete a test order to verify the footer message.
