EQ Commerce Settings Include:

Site Options settings include:

• Enabling or disabling EQ Commerce.
• Activating custom subdomain.
• Removing the home link.
• Uploading a logo image.
• Selecting primary and secondary colors.
• Selecting navigation bar colors.
• Sequence, renaming & suppression of the navigation links.

Catalog Options has a setting for hiding the "Add to Cart" button on the Grid view.

Login Options settings include:

• Enable or Disable - bypass welcome page.
• Add the Self-Registration user ID to be used on the link for the welcome page.
• Login Welcome Title message.
• Login Bottom Message.

Logout Options allow entering the URL for the Logout button.

Order Confirmation setting allows changing the text and redirecting the URL to a URL.

Ship Options include:

• Add top messages.
• Update "custom address labels."

View Cart Options:

• Update "Continue to Shipping" button and hoover text labels.

Checkout Options:

• Update Use Allowance, Use Coupons, Use Gift Certificate button and hoover text labels.

Profile Options:

• Add "Retail Top Message."

Login Page

Link on Login page launches the user into the updated registration pages.

Enter an asterisk, leave blank, enter ID, Description Name or Address to view all cost centers to search for correct location.

Custom Ship

The user can select multiple locations for shipping. A Select All/None is located at the bottom of the page. Submit button closes the page.

Billing options

Click the edit option to view the billing options page. If the user only has rights to bill to the login cost center, the edit button is not displayed. Users view only billing options that are allowed.

Switching Legacy Q-Net Sites to EQ Commerce

1. Enter the Client ID or Client Name in the Client field.
2. Select Site Options.
3. Mark the box labeled Enable EQ Commerce.
4. Click Save.

The site is converted to EQ Commerce when the page is saved.

Note: All sites are converted to the EQ Commerce view if the client field is Distributor Default. Changes to setting at the Distributor Default affect all EQ Commerce sites. If the setting is at a client level, the client setting overrides the Distributor Default setting.

Site Options

• Enable EQ Commerce – enables the Legacy Q-Net site to be viewed as EQ Commerce.
• Activating custom subdomain – Option to configure a custom domain, contact support for information.
• Disable Home Link – removes the Home button from the site.
• Logo Image – enter URL of the image for the header graphics. The image displays at the top of the login page and site pages.
• Primary Color – primary color on the login page and various places found within the site.
• Secondary Color – secondary color on the Login Page and various places found within the site.
• Navigation Bar – determine the background color of the navigation bar, rename the links, the field accepts upper/lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Reposition the links in the header. Lowest number or letter displays on the left. Options to suppress some of the navigation links.

Catalog Options

Grid View Mode:

Show Add to Cart - displays the "Add to Cart" button, min/max and inventory fields.

Hide Add to Cart - suppresses the "Add to Cart" button, users order all items from the item detail screen. The spacing between the rows is reduced.

Login Options

Bypass Welcome – users bypass the welcome page when logging in.

Self-Register ID – user ID of the "Self-Registration (Master)" user. A link is added to the Login Page for self-registration.

Welcome Title – message area on the upper portion of the Login page. The field has a maximum of 255 characters.

Bottom Message – message area at the bottom of the login page. This area accepts HTML code.

Logout Options

Logout URL – web address the logout button directs the user to.

Order Confirmation

Continue Shopping Text – change the text on the Continue Shopping button on the order confirmation displayed on the browser tab.

Continue Shopping URL – change the address of the "Continue Shopping URL."

Print Instructions – edit the text at the top of the order confirmation.

Accessing EQ Commerce sites

Sites enabled as EQ Commerce are marked with a gold star. Clicking the gold star in the header allows sorting the listing to display the starred sites at the top or bottom of the list.

Click the gold star to launch the login page. Log into the site as a user to view the site as EQ Commerce.

Adding a header image

The image used for the header must be uploaded to Q-Net. The image file can be .png, .jpg or .gif. The maximum height for the header image is 106px. Image will scale proportionately to fit the 106 px height.

The image is uploaded in Distributor Setup > Site Appearance > Upload Files. If a folder for the client does not exist, click the Create button to add a new folder.

1. Click Create to add a new folder or select a folder from the list.
2. With the folder selected, click Upload to folder: XXXX.
3. Browse to locate the image.
4. Select the image, click Open.
5. Click Upload File(s).
6. Locate the uploaded image in the list of images.
7. Right click on image to copy the shortcut.
8. Paste shortcut into the Logo Image field in the Site Options field.

Note: You may need to refresh the site or clear your browser history to view the new header.

Linking the Self-Registration User

When the ID of a Self-Registration user is added to the setup, a self-registration link is included on the login page.

1. View the user list to locate the Self-Registration user. The user is listed as M in the User Type field.
2. Locate the User ID for the Self-Registration (Master) user in the User ID column.
3. Go to Distributor Setup > Site Appearance > EQ Commerce Setup. Enter the client in the Client field.
4. Go to Login Options.
5. Enter the ID of the Self-Registration user in the Self Register ID field.

In Administration > Distributor Access, click the gold star next to the client to launch the login page. Verify clicking the link for new users launches into self-registration.
