DB/d Setup Steps
1. Customer Setup
a. Select 'EQ Link Client' from the dropdown.
b. Add EQD Client ID (Used as Buyer ID and Password).
c. Assign Freight Margin (optional).
d. Assign Merchant Account (optional).
e. Assign Default Ship Via:
- Set up Ship Ta's.
- Verify "Receiving Department".
2. Add Buyer
Navigate to: DB Distributor Toolkit > eCommerce > Setup > Buyers
a. Enter a new Buyer's ID Code (should match customer number).
b. Add the Customer ID into the Buyer’s Company and Location (Page 1).
c. Go to the Catalog Tab (Page 4).
d. Add the generic catalog (usually 10 zeros) into the EC Catalog ID field.
e. The same catalog will auto-populate into Field 1 of the Multiple Catalog Assignment section.
3. Custom Item Setup
a. Verify the following fields:
- Price Unit
- Quantity Per Unit
Amount/Unit (Price)
Note: Export is generated automatically.
EQ/1 Setup Steps
1. Import from DB/d
2. Client Setup
a. Configure eCommerce Settings.
b. Edit Ship Ta’s – adjust upload settings as needed.
3. Item Maintenance
a. Page 2 – Add Weight & Category.
b. Add Descriptions.
c. Add Images.
d. Perform additional setup as needed (e.g., min/max, restrictions, upload settings).
4. Export to EQ/c
5. EQ/c Configuration
a. Activate eCommerce Skin (configure as needed).
b. Add Logo Image.
6. Client Administration – Set Up Users
a. Set up User Groups (security groups).
b. Add Users or enable Self Registration.
7. Test Site
a. Verify Item Display.
b. Verify Category Display.
c. Check Email Notifications.
d. Confirm Order Generation.
