Each account has a MARKUP option. This percentage is used during the credit card Pre-Authorization process to approve the credit card for more than the value of the order. This allows for differences in tax rates or shipping calculations.
Only up to the authorized amount can be charged to the credit card. Add and Save (optional).
Assigning the Merchant Account in DB/d
The final step to using a merchant account is to assign it to the EQ Link client. Go to Customers > Customer Default Data.
Proceed to the third screen. Enter merchant account (use lookup) and save.
Note: Enter a terms code into the CC Plus: Alt terms code if invalid credit card. This term is used when credit card transactions fail.
