DBC: Responsive Interface > Legacy to Responsive Conversion To Do's and What to Note

Things To Do Before Conversion
Ensure SSL Certificate is set up to cover .l and .m versions of your domain
Coordinate with any Punchout or SSO providers as there will be a new URL that they need to send their requests to
Ensure logo is present under Companies > Company Overview
Create Homepage for each customer or will default to Template A (Site Design >  Homepage Template)
Update Primary/Secondary colors if desired (Site Design >  Styling)
Update Messaging for Login Page / Site Footer / Checkout Screens (Site Design >  Messaging)
Update catalog theme images to new size
Update image thumbnails for sub-catalogs to new size

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

  • In order to see all orders Admins will have to go to the New Cust Admin, History area
  • Legacy Asset - if catalog is avaible to user, asset will automatically show in nav
  • Legacy Approvals - if user requires approval, approval center will automatically show in nav
  • Legacy Reporting - turn on Analytics dashboard for group in order to see report in nav
  • User names are case sensitive (bug in legacy where they weren't and they are in responsive)
  • To Consider: Add link in Legacy Header to Responsive Interface (may help admins when they have to reference legacy for anything to get back quickly to the updated interface, since going back to legacy opens a new tab.)
  • Spending Account icon is not present next to checkout cart (Spending Account info will show within the billing section, if applicable, as the user completes checkout or they can go to Account and see their funds.)
  • Custom skins that rely on a CSS file will not carry over during conversion. Sites will instead inherit the new Responsive look and feel.

Customization in the new interface can be handled through the following areas: Homepages, font updates, color accents, and catalog theme images.

This allows the site to be tailored within the supported styling options of the new experience.
