DBC: Companies > Company List

The Company List displays all companies within your distributor that have been brought online in DB Commerce. It serves as the starting point for accessing and managing any company within the platform.

The list is sorted alphabetically by default and presented in a paginated display. Inactive companies are filtered out by default, but can be included by toggling from Active to All using the filter options in the upper right.

You can sort the list by clicking any column header — Company Name, Company ID, Customer Number, or Site URL — in ascending or descending order. Use the search bar to filter results by typing any part of a company name, ID, customer number, or site URL.

To select a company, double-click its row. That selection will persist as you navigate across the different admin areas.

Note: Clicking a link in the Site URL column will open that company's site in a new browser tab, provided a valid URL exists.


Bringing a New Company Online

Companies that exist in your back office system but have not yet been brought online will not appear in the Company List. To bring a company online:

  1. Click the + button in the upper right to view a list of all companies that have been replicated from your back office system to DB Commerce.

  2. Locate the company you wish to bring online and click the + icon that appears on hover to the right of the row.

  3. Once brought online, you will automatically be taken to the Company Overview section. The system will begin pulling in company information from your back office — note that it may take an hour or two for all data to fully replicate and populate.
