🔵 Overview The Commission Chargeback Entry program is used to enter chargebacks for your salespersons. These chargebacks will automatically flow through and be reported on your Commission Payable report.

Navigation: Accounts Receivable > Reports > Commission > Chargeback Entry
Step-by-Step Instructions
Once you open the Chargeback Entry screen, fill out the following fields to complete the entry:
- Fiscal Year & Accounting Period: Enter the year and period to which the chargeback should be applied.
- Salesperson: Select or enter the code for the salesperson receiving the chargeback.
- Chargeback Number: Enter the unique chargeback number. If this entry is not already on file, you will receive a prompt to add it.
- Chargeback Date: Enter the date of the transaction.
- Description: Provide a reason or description for the chargeback.
- Commission Code: Enter the applicable commission code for the transaction.
- G/P Adjustment: Enter the gross profit adjustment.
- Note: Use a negative value if you need to reduce the gross profit.

Important Considerations
📌 Please Note: This is a memo entry only intended for reporting purposes. The entry will appear at the bottom of the Salesman's Commission Payable report. It does not automatically post to your financials. If necessary, you must make a manual entry to the General Ledger to adjust your Commissions Payable account.
