DBD: Inventory - Customer Groups (Items Management)
🔵 Overview Customer Group codes can be used to group similar Print Management customers together for reporting purposes. This can be for a situation where multiple customers use the same inventory stored under a master account, or where you have a corporate entity with many subsidiary customer accounts.
Setup Group Codes
Path: Print Management, Setup, Other, Setups and Parameters, Customer Groups

IMS Customer Groups - FMGGAA
- Enter the customer group code that you want to add or modify. You can also use the query button to view existing codes.
- Enter a description for the customer group code.
- Enter a group note.
- Enter in the main customer code for this group. Can use the query option to select customer code.
- Additional Group codes are not required

Enter the Customer Group Code. You can use the Query option to select an existing Group code or setup a new one from the setup option.
Report Options

The following reports give you the ability to use the customer group code:
- Print Management Status — Use Sequence 3 (Group/Item)
- Grouping Analysis — Use Sequence 2 (Customer Group Code)
- Inventory Valuation — Use Sequence 3 (Group/Item)
- Usage History Summary — Setup Customer Range as FIRST–LAST and enter Group Code in Selection Criteria

Q: When would I use Customer Group codes?

Q: How do I set up a new Customer Group code?
A: In Print Management, Setup, Other, Setups and Parameters, Customer Groups, enter the group code, a description, a group note, and the main customer code for the group. Additional group codes are not required.

A: In that customer's Customer Defaults (Accounts Receivable, Setup, Customers, Customer Defaults), enter the Customer Group Code on the Reporting and Reorder tab — you can query an existing group or set up a new one from there.
