EQD Shipping UPS and FedEx Integration
This document provides detailed instructions for setting up and using shipping interfaces with UPS and FedEx, including exporting and importing shipment data and accessing tracking information.
1. Shipping Interface Definition
- The warehouse exports the daily shipments’ outbound freight costs and tracking numbers from UPS WorldShip or FedEx Shipping Manager in CSV format to a designated folder on the Distributor’s network.
- That file is imported into e-Quantum, updating the cost and/or tracking for the day’s releases and purchase orders which have shipped from the warehouse.
- Importing the tracking numbers can also trigger shipping notices which contain the tracking numbers.
- Clicking the tracking number within the release or Purchase Order or Shipping Notice connects to the UPS or FedEx website to track the shipment.
