DBC: General Administration

Overview

The DB Commerce website structure involves two types of admin sites: Distributor and Customer. The

Distributor Admin site is where the distributor can setup their customers for online ordering and modify their settings as needed. The Customer site is where the customers of the distributor can have their site admins login for ordering and as well as performing some site maintenance, and the customers of the distributor are able to do their online shopping as general users.

Distributor Admin Site (Dist Admin)

We are currently in the process of redesigning our Distributor Admin. While the new interface is still

undergoing development, certain admin controls must continue to be accessed through Legacy Dist

Admin. To that end, users will be able to seamlessly toggle back and forth between the two via single-sign-on until all admin functions have been made available through the new interface.

An example of a Legacy Distributor Admin site is below. Note: you may see fewer navigation options.

As areas are moved over to the New Distributor Admin, we are removing them from the nav options in

Legacy.
